concluded with a bang where a
record-number of visitors and
exhibitors came together to
showcaseand learnabout the latest
technologies and innovations in
thewater andwastewater industry.
heWater Philippines 2017
is a three-day event,
which took place from
March 22 to 24 at the
SMX Convention Center
in Manila.
The show saw 329 companies
from across 32 countries exhibiting,
including regional and international
pavilions such as China, Germany,
Korea, Ma l ays i a, Si ngapore,
Thailand and USA. And more than
7,500 quality trade visitors from 35
countries were also seen attending
the show.
With the success of Water
Philippines 2017, 94.25% of the
exhibitors and 95.88%of the visitors
said they are highly satisfied, of
which 95.4% exhibitors and 96.6%
visitors have said they will most
likely join again in 2019. Additionally, 95.88% of the total also
commented that they will recommend Water Philippines to
their colleagues or friends.
Highlights at Water Philippines 2017
The exhibition also hosted the Water Philippines 2017
Conference which is a two-day forum in partnership with
the Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA). The event
saw more than 30 prominent speakers from across the globe
coming together to share their knowledge and practices.
“We must bear in mind that sanitation towards
national sustainability is a shared responsibility,”
said Senator Cynthia A. Villar, the current Chairperson of the
Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources
in the Philippines; emphasising the importance of water
sanitation and vital reforms in her keynote speech.
